
Ingredients
Colocasia leaves (remove stalk and slice off center stem) - 9
Wheat flour - 1 cup
PTI Besan (Gram Flour) , sieved - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1 cup
Onion, grated (optional) - 1
PTI Red Chilli Powder - 2 tbsp.
Tamarind pulp - Squeezed from lemon sized ball
Jaggery - grated - Big ball double the size of the tamarind ball
PTI Coriander Powder and PTI Cumin Powder - 2 tsp.
PTI Pakistani Salt Powder - 2 tsp.
PTI Coriander whole , minced - For garnishing
Directions:
Mix all flours, onion, chilli powder, tamarind pulp, Jaggery, coriander and cumin (Dhana - jeera) powder and salt with enough water to make a thick paste. Apply the mixture on the leaves and make rolls. Steam the rolls for 20 minutes without weight. Cool. Slice the rolls.
Serve garnished with coriander leaves or grill in an oven at 200 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes till brown.
